Meet Amy
Teaching expertise, translated into personal connection.
Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and brings certified teaching expertise plus more than six years of personalized tutoring and learning-support experience to Suma.
Her work begins with a simple conviction: the learner is not the problem. When an approach is not connecting, the work is to listen more closely, adapt thoughtfully, and keep going until a useful path appears.
“I wanted to show students something different: that they are capable of doing anything. A bump in the road doesn't define their potential. It's just the starting point.”

As a mother of two, Amy knows that learning support has to fit real family life, not just the hour spent together. She also stays involved in the local school community through these volunteer roles.
